Melissa has been my daughter’s educational therapist for the last six months. In that time, my daughter has improved in her organizational skills, study skills and reading comprehension. Her weekly reading test and social studies test scores continue to improve. But most importantly, she looks forward to going every single week. We are forever grateful for Melissa!  

Melissa has been working with my son since August and over the last few months, he’s become a much stronger and confident student.  Her patience, dedication and steady communication has made a big difference in the way he’s learning!

Melissa is an outstanding clinician. Not only is she skilled in every way to help kids through ed therapy techniques she builds rapport so well and quickly with kids and parents alike. She is also amazing to work with and collaborate on shared clients. 

Miss Melissa’s greatest strength is recognizing the struggles in her students and taking action to find solutions for their issues. My children have made great strides in their education and can now acknowledge their executive functioning misfires after being treated by Miss Melissa. She is a huge part of their “tool kit” as they navigate their disabilities. I feel so fortunate that my children are able to succeed because of her expertise and care. 

I like working with Melissa because she is kind, she helps me with my writing and she has the best games for brain breaks.

Before  I started working with Melissa, I struggled with organization, time management, and did not have great study habits. Working with Melissa has greatly improved my confidence and has overall made me a better student.  Melissa is easy to talk to, always available and cares about my growth and success as a person and as a student.  She helps me now plan for the weeks and months ahead and helps me identify areas where i need to improve.

Melissa has a very special way to connect with the kids she is working with which seems to motivate the kids to give the best of themselves back to her.  As a mom, it is an incredible thing to know that my kids will really get the most out of the time spent working with Melissa. My daughter started elementary school during the pandemic and her reading and writing skills were definitely not where I thought they should be.  The way that Melissa connected with her, made her excited to go each week, and made her so proud and excited to show me her progress which was always noticeable after each session.  

Melissa has been an incredible Educational Therapist and mentor for our son. Navigating middle school can be a challenge, especially when your child has a difficult time staying organized, writing notes, and studying for tests. Even though I am a teacher, my experience is with elementary school age children, so it was difficult for me to help him navigate through these challenges. Melissa continues to help my son be successful through many different tools and new ideas. She even frequently collaborates with his teachers to make sure she is helping him the best she can. We are very grateful for her because she always goes above and beyond to help my son.
